You are within walking distance of Marseille's historic sights and just 2 métro stations away from the Parc des Exposition (Parc Chanot), from the famous Stade Vélodrome, (he home of the Olympique Marseille football team) and from the Gare Saint Charles (railway station).

Buses will take you to the calanques (rocky inlets), to the beaches, to Cassis and to Aix en Provence. La Timone and la Conception hospitals are nearby.

Nor are you far from numerous restaurants offering all sorts of cuisine. (You'll find some of these in PLace Castellane, Cours Julien, Place Notre Dame du Mont and the old port)

If you're travelling by train take the métro -ligne 2, (whose terminus in Sainte Marguerite Dromel) at gare Saint Charles and get off at Cours Julien Notre Dame du Mont (the 2rd stop). Go up Notre Dame du Mont and rue de Lodi.

If you're coming on the A7 motorway take the Gare Saint Charles exit and drive along boulevard d'Athènes, continuing along boulevard Dugommier and Cours Lieutaud as far as boulevard Baille. At the traffic lights turn left. Go up the boulevard Baille and on the left, rue de Lodi.

If you're coming on the A50 motorway, you'll reach Marseille via boulevard Dulpuech. Turn right into avenue de Corinthe, then rue de l'Abbé Féraud. Turn right into rue Robert Brun, then  take rue de Lodi.
